Structured, Inclusive & Colorful
Colour forms the foundation of the interior concept for this project. Each floor is defined by a distinct colour identity, carefully composed through surfaces, furnishings, and detailing. The palettes are used both atmospherically and functionally — supporting intuitive wayfinding, clearly distinguishing the different levels, and introducing variation and energy into everyday school life.
The building was transformed from office spaces into teaching facilities within a tight timeframe, designed to accommodate adult learners of all ages and backgrounds. The school welcomes a diverse student range, and the interior is shaped to feel inclusive, flexible, and accessible — a place that supports focus, orientation, and belonging.
The graphic signage were integrated as an essential layer of the design, reinforcing the colour concept and completing the overall identity of the spaces. Across all classrooms, the Flokk Tion chair was selected as a unifying element, chosen for its flexibility and sustainable qualities.
The colour concept is designed to adapt over time, allowing furniture to move between floors without disrupting the overall expression. The result is a vibrant and robust learning environment — clearly structured, inclusive, and built to support change.
